Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Virtuous Pie at their launch of patio season with a special taco pop-up party!
The popular plant-based restaurant, best known for its artisanal
pizzas and ice cream, will be featuring house-made tacos at its Wesbrook UBC location from
3:00PM until closing on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
In addition to the regular food and beverage menu, two kinds of plant-based tacos will be
available: The Smoky Chicken Taco with Beyond Meat Chicken marinated in a tomato chipotle
sauce, green cabbage, house made feta, avocado lime drizzle, and cilantro, and The Steak
Taco, with steak curls, house-made mozza, sautéed green peppers and onion, and chimichurri.
Both tacos can be ordered gluten-free.
Buckets of Dead Frog Lager, Hibiscus Margaritas, White Wine Sangria by the glass and the
pitcher, and music by Roka Music round out the celebratory offerings.
