Virtuous Pie is all about creating food that tastes great, is good for your body and supports a healthy planet. Their mission is to accelerate the adoption of a plant-based diet by providing delicious, affordable, and fast plant-based food options in an inclusive environment. They’re out to create positive change in the world—one slice (or scoop!) at a time.
At just over 2000 square feet, the UBC Wesbrook Village location will be Virtuous Pie’s largest outpost, featuring both indoor and outdoor seating and a number of new offerings including soft serve ice cream, Matchstick coffee, Dipped Doughnut Co.’s donuts., house-made breakfast pastries, and pizza by the slice Monday to Friday. The menu will also include two new pizzas.
Designed by interior design firm Mason Studio, the 2,000 sqft UBC Wesbrook Village location takes inspiration from its surroundings, using contrasts to create a dynamic space. Terrazzo flooring, PaperStone wood-like wall cladding and floating plants installation from the Vancouver, local supplier Greenstems are key elements of our space. The restaurant features a mix of individual tables as well as some communal tables which are lit by pendant lights from Vancouver designer Lukas Peet. Wesbrook Village is excited to celebrate these artist collaborations, including featured artwork from local artist Maia Boakye, Lindsay Cohen, and Sarah Delaney Schick.
